Feeling like this town has lost its color, so point me in a direction where I can get a ticket for a plane, a train, or a bus so I can find another city to call my own, cause I've followed it from left to right, though it's only up and down more often now, these faces stay the same it's making me sick, I'll follow through and tear this city down yeah brick my brick I know, I've said it all before, yeah this time I mean it, my voice is getting old, enough to say it like it was meant to be heard. We're running our lives with a constant overcast, all the stars in the sky couldn't tell all of your lies. I find it easier to cope with things that are labeled obsolete, so throw a record on and hear the needle crackle, in harmony. I know that this is the last time that we'll feel the sun beat against our faces before we drop our suits for heavy scarves and cotton clothes. These faces stay the same it's making me sick, I'll follow through and tear this city down yeah brick by brick.

So how was your trip to Germany? We never got to spend our drink tickets or places to stay why don't you conjure up a reverie of what you thought to be the perfect streak, the perfect streak of luck and bliss. So tell us how you did it, and can you send a pray from our hands, you accentuate the deficit of your mind, and I won't pretend you knew in the first place, what it's about. So hold me down by the beat of everyone else's heart, who gave a damn when we threw ourselves into fires way, we are the same and you are the reason we'll never change, just tell me this, who do you take yourself so seriously. Did you know that it wasn't just a joke for the rest of us to comment on, well even if you do we're still afraid that you'll crawl back to the front lines anyway. I remember having one on one talks yeah just you and me, our simple lives got ruined by the judgement and the apathy, I won't pretend I care anymore. So hold US down by the beat of everyone else's heart, who gives a damn when we throw ourselves into fires way, we are the same and you are the reason we'll never change, just tell me this, how do you take yourself so seriously? No, we'll never change.

It's just a measure of your weakness, because you never thought you'd be this, the most comfortable way to breathe is when you're sitting next to me, I can't think cause I've been drinking, I can't remember cause I've been pilling, the most comfortable way to be is when you're oblivious to me. So take it with a grain of salt, the comments always seem so small, for the amount of stress that tears at the base of this hollowed structure, so where do we go, to fix the cracks in the pavement, we'll start from the ground and work our way back up to greatness, I'll just be wrong, for the sake of this argument. Oh, shit seems to happen, the expression of this phrase never seems to be redundant. There's a block in the road we never took into consideration for our work, we'll have to break through to finish the job at the current statement, so we'll breathe down their throats, till we figure out an arrangement, to go on our way and captivate the eyes that make us, I'll just be wrong. Oh, shit seems to happen, the expression of this phrase never seems to be redundant, oh, let's be subtle and stoic, because when sparks start to fly we get heated and then say fuck it, so fuck it. So say what you wanted, and how you took control of the situation, because I saw your back when you walked away, yeah and it's no secret, everyone knows how you acted, it was childish and deceiving.

I've got more to say, then what you thought was in me, I guess that's the definition, of judging a book by it's cover, I fight my demons with a shot of whiskey and a lit cigarette. Think before you root yourself in selfish acts and reckless health, I have always been the predicate to your separate lives. I like the color of your aura, but I'm sure that I'm just seeing things, I've been sleeping in this bed for a while by myself, but what did I expect. I've got my rhythmic empathy, you've got your relic state of mind, so tell me what it's like, yeah to keep it all inside.

Here's another moment, where you said the things that you didn't believe in, you're a fucking joke, and I am not a saint, so I have no sympathy. Wandering these streets on my own with my shirt off and bare feet, it seems a shame to me that I'm dusting off the regrets of my defeat, instead of cleaning up this mess, you know I'm drinking myself sick, there's not shame to admit the fact that I know that I let it go to my head. Now we're home. If we're being honest, it's time to lie, just drain another, you'll be just fine, just bottle up with a bottle outside, yeah just run and hide. This is the ghost of a good race, we'll never finish in first place. There's a freight train running through my head, because I'm self indulgent and completely distant, well the pieces never break they bend, and that's only 'cause you're completely full of shit, you're completely full of shit. Wandering these streets on my own with my shirt off and bare feet, it seems a shame to me that I'm gone, instead of cleaning up this mess, you know I'm drinking myself sick, there's no shame to admit the fact that I know that I let it go to my head. If we're being honest, it's time to lie, just drain another, you'll be just fine, just bottle up with a bottle outside, and just run and hide. This is the ghost of a good race, we'll never finish in first place.
